Quinta da Prelada - White 10 Years Old
€27.00
Produced exclusively with White Grapes, Aged White Port is a style of White Port made from a blend of wines of different vintages, aged in small casks for an extended period—typically averaging 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 80 years—under controlled oxidation.
It is a non-vintage wine crafted to achieve a consistent house style, characterized by its amber‑brown color and complex tertiary flavors of dried fruits, nuts, caramel, spices, etc... The prolonged oxidative aging in wood gradually transforms the wine, giving it a smooth, silky texture with no harsh tannins.
Aged White Ports are always filtered, bottled ready to drink, and require no decanting. They are intended for immediate enjoyment upon release, though an opened bottle can be kept for several weeks due to the wine’s stability from oxidative aging.
